TFA advisor terms and conditions

These terms apply to financial professionals who apply for or hold Trusted Financial Advisor (TFA) status and use TrustedFinancialAdvisor.org (the “Platform”) to engage with investors and showcase their practice.

1. Eligibility and accurate representation

You agree to provide accurate credentials, licensing, and firm information, and to keep that information current. You will not misrepresent your regulatory status, experience, or services.

2. Fiduciary and professional standards

You commit to applicable ethical and fiduciary standards in your jurisdiction and to dealing fairly and honestly with clients and prospects you meet through the Platform.

3. No platform investment advice

Content on the Platform is for general information. The Platform does not provide personalized investment advice. Your relationship with clients and any recommendations are solely your responsibility and subject to your own compliance obligations.

4. Compliance

You are responsible for complying with securities, advertising, privacy, and other laws and rules that apply to you. Nothing on the Platform overrides those obligations.
